Boys & Girls Club of Lawrence County Basketball

*Season includes weekly practices and games. Practice times and days are determined by the volunteer coach. Times can vary. However, NO practice starts later than 8pm based on the coach’s schedule.

• Registration deadline for K-8 is Friday, November 3^rd.
• Registration deadline for 9-12 is Monday, November 13^th
• Registrations are NOT accepted after the deadline.
• Season runs November 6^th – January 20^th, 2024.
• 2-day camp on Monday, Nov. 6^th & Tuesday, Nov. 7^th for K-5 from 6:15-7:30 (No additional fee)
• Games begin November 13^th for K-5
• Skills assessment for K-8 will take place on November 9^th.
• Skills assessment for 9-12 will take place on November 16^th.

       ***Players are encouraged to attend***

• Teams will be selected following the Skill assessments.
• The coaches meeting will take place on November 7^th (Tuesday).
• Pictures will be taken on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday (Nov. 13, 14, & 16^th) from 5-7pm for K-8.

Games and practices are not held the week of November 20^th (Thanksgiving Week) or during Christmas Break (December 20th– December 31st).

Parent/Player requests for placement on specific teams are not accepted.  If some type of extreme circumstance arises, please contact Mark Albertson at (812)278-3515.

Each player must have a current Club Membership before the Registration. There is no Membership fee for the Pre-K age group.

Coaches Needed Volunteer coaches are an important part of the Boys and Girls Club of Lawrence County Athletics. All coaches must complete a background check prior to their first practice.
